I support Paul for Sheriff.  I have seen the hard work he puts in and has for all the years he has worked for ACSO.  I have had the pleasure to work with Paul In various roles we both have held at our respective agencies.   There is no doubt he will be a true servant leader to the anoka county citizens and his team, as sheriff.  His morals and ethics are top notch and he is humble.  Paul’s passion, knowledge and leadership is amazing and that is what is needed to make the organization thrive.  That passion will help lead Anoka County SO and in turn that passion will flow out into the community through Paul and his ACSO team.  As a law enforcement professional, I have always looked at ACSO as a leader in our profession. Please consider Paul for sheriff as you head to the polls

Sheriff Tim Leslie, Dakota County

I have known Commander Paul Lenzmeier since 2011 when we met while he was in a graduate program at the University of St. Thomas.  Commander Lenzmeier has the leadership, education and experience required to lead the Sheriff’s Office.  His 24 years of experience working with the complexities of a Sheriff’s Office sets him apart.  This experience is vital for successfully navigating the challenges of today and tomorrow.  In my opinion, he is the voters choice for Anoka County Sheriff. His personality and long-standing commitment to the citizens of Anoka County make him the perfect choice for Sheriff.

Shelly Orlando, Retired ACSO Commander

I retired from the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office in February after being an employee for over 27 years.  I have known Paul Lenzmeier since he began working in our office as a Community Service Officer in 1997.  I have watched Paul grow over the years and am confident that he will be an asset as the Sheriff of Anoka County.  Paul is a caring, empathetic leader within the office.  As the commander of the patrol division, Paul is motivated to make sure that employees have the tools that they need to do their job, while being fiscally responsible with the patrol division budget.  Paul is an active participant in Sheriff’s Office events and enjoys interacting with community members.  Prior to making a decision, Paul seeks input to ensure he is considering all sides.  Paul has embraced the different positions he has held throughout his career at the Sheriff’s Office.  Paul is dedicated to ensuring that the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office maintains positive and professional interactions within the community.  I am confident that Paul will abide by the oath of office when he is elected as Sheriff.  These are among the reasons that I am supporting Paul Lenzmeier for Anoka County Sheriff.
