Sheriff Stuart Endorses Paul Lenzmeier for Anoka County Sheriff
A Letter from the desk of Anoka County Sheriff James Stuart:
Dear Anoka County Residents,
My passion for service to others has included the pursuit of excellence in my commitment to you as the elected sheriff of Anoka County. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve you in this capacity and my commitment remains to the citizens we serve and to the amazing staff of the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office. While I am dedicated to helping whoever may be our next sheriff write success stories, I have a unique perspective and interest in the election outcome. I want only the best for the sheriff’s office and for all of Anoka County. While each of the sheriff candidates brings experience and strengths, one stands out.
I have had the opportunity to work with Paul Lenzmeier since he began his career in public safety more than 25 years ago. From the onset, he has demonstrated a commitment to professionalism and has displayed a compassionate heart for service to others.
As the years progressed, so has his ability to lead. He has successfully promoted through several leadership ranks and worked in varying roles and assignments within the sheriff’s office. This experience provides him with an invaluable solid foundation of knowledge about the operations of the sheriff’s office as well as what it takes to serve in numerous communities while protecting all of Anoka County.
Paul Lenzmeier currently serves as a Division Commander of the sheriff’s office overseeing the Patrol Division operations. In that capacity, he and his team members, professionally serve all of Anoka County through numerous specialized services. He also serves as the “Chief” of the largest law enforcement provider in the county, providing police services to 8 of the 21 communities of Anoka County.
Commander Lenzmeier has consistently demonstrated authentic, trustworthy leadership through his actions. He routinely seeks out ways to improve operations, develop efficiencies and expand community relationships while maintaining law and order.
Paul Lenzmeier is a man of integrity, character, deep knowledge and has the needed background and experience to lead our highly complex office. Equally important, he uniquely understands the roles, and embraces the responsibilities that go along with the honor of being responsive to the citizens who will elect him.
For these, and many other reasons, I strongly offer my endorsement to him, and I hope you will join me in casting a vote to elect PAUL LENZMEIER FOR ANOKA COUNTY SHERIFF!
